I'll be sending you a series of emails with all of the tips and pieces of information to ensure you're fully prepared for your session from outfits, to timing a wax or shave, and everything in between! 
If there's still something you're unsure of then I'm always a text, call, or email away so you can feel fully prepared coming into your boudoir session!

This is where my expertise and your ability to follow direction mesh into a creating beautiful works of art. Those sultry expressions and pointed toes don't happen by accident! At the start of the session, we'll go over the foundations of facial expression and what to do with your hands and feet. Throughout the session as we're capturing each pose, I'll keep reminding you until by the end you'll be a pro and doing it automatically!

How will I know how to pose?

I do all of my boudoir sessions at local airbnb's that I partner with. This gives your photographs a relaxed, natural, and lived - in feel as if these could have almost been taken at your own place! A lot of people can have nerves being in a photography studio with huge lights and cameras everywhere which is why I prefer the airbnb setting and using natural light for all of my images so you can forget about the camera and just focus on posing!

Where will my boudoir session take place?

Typically, you'll want to have your session at least 6-8 weeks before the date you'd like to present your gift - whether that be a birthday, anniversary, or wedding. 
Because our wall art is coming from Europe and our albums are handmade, time is a crucial element as I prepare your stunning gifts! 
Depending on what it is, I may be able to expedite you receiving your gifts so please reach out if you are unsure! 

How do I prepare for a session?

We start off your boudoir experience with hair and makeup which takes around 1 - 1.5 hours so we can ensure you're 100% happy with the result. Then we transition into the session which can range from 1.5 hours - 2.5 hours depending on whether there were some additional specific looks you wanted to incorporate! 
I take my time during my session to allow for creative collaboration and to ensure a relaxed pace at the session. 

At the start of the session, your hair and makeup artist will be getting you all glammed up while we all chat and go over your outfit selections.
During the actual session, it'll just be you and myself so we can completely focus on you! This helps you to relax into all of the poses without feeling like someone is watching you the whole time!

Who will be present during the session?

We've got you covered for your hair and makeup! Part of the experience is having some time to just relax and have someone else pamper you. Whether you're going for a more natural look or full glam with some fierce lashes, our professional hair and makeup artist will ensure that you are 100% happy with the end result. Once you get a glimpse at your gorgeous self, you'll have even more confidence as we begin the session!

Do I have to do my own hair and makeup?

I don't like to rush the editing process so I can give your images the full attention they deserve to ensure they look amazing when you see them! 
Your images will be ready to view within 2 weeks - we'll meet up for you to view them all for the very first time! During that time, you'll also have the opportunity to select the images you love and choose how you'd like to gift them to yourself and/or a loved one whether through wall art, albums, or another way!

Nerves are completely normal and most of our clients feel this way coming into their session so you are not alone! Something I do to help ease you into your boudoir session is by beginning with more 'covered' outfits such as a shirt outfit - giving you time to get comfortable with posing, relaxing into the session, and viewing a few images on the back of my camera to get a sneak peak at the gorgeous woman you are!
By the end of the session, most ladies just want to go for it and bring their boldest, fiercest selves with implied nude or fully nude poses (these make for show-stopping endings for an album!).

I'm interested in a session, but I'm so nervous!

We encourage you to bring their own outfits as we truly want this session to be uniquely yours right down to the outfits and shoes! Since I have a more natural approach with my posing, we do not typically do a lot of heel images, but it's always fun to incorporate a few of those particularly for silhouettes to show off your amazing curves!
I will provide a complete outfit inspiration guide along with shopping recommendations so you can pamper yourself and get excited about your session. I'll have you bring around 5 - 7 outfits or so and we'll talk through them and make your final selections during the session!

Do you supply the outfits?

How far in advance should I plan to do my session if it's for a gift/special occasion?

Yes - I accept all major credit cards and offer payment plans! 
I'll send over all of the investment details so you'll have full transparency as far as what to expect! 
I offer in house payment plans and your products will be delivered once the final payment has made.

If you pay in full with cash, there is a 5% discount on all collections and products! 

That is completely up to you! I will only over share your images if you sign a model release and you can always select which particular ones you'd like to share. Some women prefer to share their empowering experience with others while some want them to be private for certain reasons - we respect and support either option.
